What the Hell is Where the Hell is my…? (A lipstick or lip balm?)

Every week, someone asks us the same thing: is this a lipstick or a lip balm?

Fair question. It's shaped like a lipstick. Twists up like a lipstick. Then it touches your lips and feels like... a balm. Creamy, melty, nothing like the lipstick that left your lips tight and cracked by 3pm.

So which is it?

The short version

• It's built to be both. Waxes give it the lipstick bullet shape and glide. Nourishing oils give it the balm feel.
• Sheer on its own, buildable if you want more colour and layerable.
• No parabens, no nasties, vegan, cruelty-free.

Here's the longer version

Most lipsticks are built to hold pigment and stay put. That usually means waxes, and a formula that sits on top of your lips instead of sinking in — which is exactly why traditional lipstick can leave your lips feeling tight or dry by the end of the day.

Lip balms go the other way. All hydration, zero pigment, gone by your next coffee.

We didn't love picking a side, so we created Where The Hell Is My...? This lipstick uses waxes (candelilla, microcrystalline) for the bullet shape and the glide, and nourishing oils and esters for the melt-in, balm-like feel. One formula, both jobs.

What's in it, no jargon

• The shape and hold: waxes let it stand up in the bullet and glide on instead of dragging.
• The balm feel: emollient oils and esters melt into your lips instead of sitting on top.
• The nourishment: Vitamin E, plus humectants quietly keeping your lips from drying out over the day.
• The colour: mineral pigments (mica, iron oxides, titanium dioxide) for a soft, buildable tint — not the harsh dyes in a lot of long-wear lipsticks.

Vegan, cruelty-free, no parabens, no nasties. Just good stuff on your lips.

What it's actually like to wear

No tackiness. No reapplying every twenty minutes. No lip liner most days. Just a soft, natural glow that hydrates first and adds colour along the way.

Wear it solo for a your-lips-but-better finish, or layer it over Bam! Bam! Bam! when you want more colour. Same tube, two looks.

What it's not

It's not a full-pigment, ten-hour, matte lipstick, and it was never trying to be. If you want heavy colour payoff in one swipe, this isn't that. If you want your lips to feel better at the end of the day than they did at the start, it is.
